with my one and only chocolate ganache, fruit, and incomparable Irish Cream
1 1/2 pounds spaghetti
3/4 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon Irish Cream, liqueur
Juice of 1 orange
7 1/2 ounces dark chocolate, roughly chopped
12 strawberries, sliced
Toasted pecans, to taste
Toasted pistachios, to taste
- Prepare the spaghetti according to the package directions.
- While the spaghetti cooks, bring the cream to a simmer over medium heat. Whisk in the Irish Cream and orange juice, then pour over the chopped chocolate in a large heatproof bowl. Let sit until the chocolate begins to melt, about 1 minute, then whisk into a smooth chocolate ganuche.
- Drain the cooked spaghetti, then toss with the chocolate ganuche. Top with strawberries and toasted nuts and serve immediately.
